In leading Little Lamb, I am thrilled for the opportunity we have to teach these young children and influence them to serve one another and our community, sharing God’s love through our words and actions. We are blessed to be a Christian School where we can openly worship our Lord! We love teaching our students about the God who loves them and has a plan for their lives.

In this particular year, our focus is to serve. We are called to serve each other in our classrooms and our community, sharing God’s love through our words and actions, and we believe each of these children can do just this. We recently had our Fire Safety Week, which we transformed into a way to serve by thanking our local fire department for keeping our community safe, by donating a bunch of snacks for the fire fighters, and by donating stuffed animals for any children that may be at any of their rescue calls. We intend to continue teaching our children how to serve in our school, community, state, and beyond through practical acts of service like these. This kind of living reflects God’s love to the world around us.

Our purpose is to be disciples and equip disciples.

We spend a full school year with families and with students, building close relationships in which we can share and show God’s love with them. In every classroom, we teach our students Bible stories and how God wants us to live our lives following Him. Without a doubt, these children learn that God loves them and wants to have a personal relationship with them, and that we can talk with God through prayer.

Scripturally Rooted.

Relationally Committed.

Sacrificially Minded.

Missionally Driven.

Little Lamb is a Christian School where we can openly worship the Lord and teach from a perspective of being Scripturally Rooted and with deep Relational Commitment.

We love teaching our students Bible stories, how to love each other as Christ loves us, singing songs to praise God, and being able to pray in our classrooms. Each moment is a wonderful opportunity to teach these young children about our God who loves them and has a plan for their lives.

We have a great team of Teachers and TA’s that are exemplars of being relationally committed! Our staff works so well together, building intentional relationships with one another and with their students. Everyone checks in on each other and often pray for one another in specific ways. Together, we are all working to make Little Lamb a fun, loving place to be.

Next year, we want to strengthen our value of being Missionally Driven. We are excited for opportunities to continue serving each other and being bold in our faith as we grow our relationships this school year. We hope to increasingly share God’s love with our Little Lamb families, our community, and beyond.

Life Change:

the result of being disciples and equipping disciples together

With the families who attend our school, we have seen great snapshots of change and growth. We love seeing Little Lamb Families start attending TGP, and we have had a number of families show interest in our church. The consistent reflection is that their child is enjoying their school year and their parents are seeing the way we care for them. Oftentimes, these families have then further connected through volunteering in a classroom and through a deepening relationship with the staff.

We have also seen incredible ways that people in our church have made the step from spectator to disciple. For example, Jamie N. was a Little Lamb mom who had appreciated our approach for some time, but just recently joined us as a teacher. She is a wonderful addition to our team, and her love and care for our students is incredible!

What does engagement look like?

Our school year gives us so many weekly opportunities to connect with our students, but so too do special activities throughout the year, such as Trunk or Treat and Little Lamb Sunday. And that is bearing fruit with increasing depth of relationships but also more and more people joining the school. (Since COVID, we have regrown by over 30%!)

For anyone looking for a safe place to start their child’s foundational years in education, Little Lamb is the place they will start well, be loved, and be taken care of.
